The idea of house rabbits attracts people because rabbits are not only playful and fun to watch they are also very social. Rabbits tend to appeal to people who like the size and feel of cats but are sometimes displayed off by the aloof manners cats, most rabbits are always friendly if handled properly. When you've ground the pill into a powder mix it with a bit of Sustacal or Ensure flavored until you've got a watery paste. Use a syringe to administer the paste like a medication with liquid.
It only takes one mosquito to bit a rabbit to get infected with a dangerous viral disease called Myxomatosis. Most rabbits die after contracting the disease just a few short hours away. Myxomatosis can only be treated by vaccinating your pet rabbit before it ever comes into contact with myxomatosis. Rabbits that are six weeks old should be vaccinated. Don't vaccinate a pregnant rabbit; wait till birth of her babies. Rabbits are still at risk for Myxomatosis despite being vaccinated for 14 days. Your pet rabbit is going to need some booster shots.
Uncontrolled bleeding when hit, blood in the urine, broken bones, breathing issues, dropping body temperature, and extreme diarrhoea are common health problems associated with rabbits.
