VIP's Pet Health Insurance

When most people think a pet is spoiled, they feel it gets a lot of treats, they have too many expensive toys scattered around the ground, or they are allowed to sleep in bed with their humans at night, usually taking up the whole bed and hanging all the covers. I even once saw a pot bellied pig that was so spoiled that its humans created a very own house made miniature pork so it wouldn't get cold responding to nature calling.

The word really important-pets is taken to a whole new level by Japanese pet owners. In Japan, well-loved pets enjoy aromatherapy, acupuncture, doggy spa trips where they are lovingly massaged and have their own personal trainers in some cases.

It's a well-known fact that we tend to spoil our pets because we love them, but recent studies have shown that pampering our pets could actually do as much harm as good. One recent study from an undisclosed source suggests that by spoiling them, we are actually making our beloved pets stupid. We are so hurried to make their lives easier we take away their need to solve problems on their own. The less their brains need to be loosened the less they can do on their own. This problem is particularly common in households where it appears the dog is running the show. What would happen to this pet if it had to really think for itself?

Weight is a concern veterinarians have about spoiled pets. The more the pet gets spoiled the more obese it appears to become. The obesity may result in later health problems that may actually decrease the pet's life. Weight can affect the skeletal system before hip issues begin to develop, obesity can cause breathing and heart issues, and the additional pounds of blubber continually pressing the joints can begin to create stiffness and discomfort.

Veterinarians are not uncommon to see a lot of the spoiled pet as it enters the last few years of its life. The problem with older overweight pets is that they are exposed to more germs, bacteria , and viruses every time they are brought to the vet clinic which can lead to even more endless trips to the vet.

The people who care for the very important-pet for the most part do not have to worry about the increasing number of visits to see a doctor. Most doting parents bought pet health care insurance during the pet's early years of existence. Essentially all the health care needs of the pet are bought and paid for.

I wouldn't be the least surprised if you weren't seeing pet health insurance firms increase their VIP customer levels in a few years. The appearance of specialist animal slimming clinics is on solution to the pudgy, somewhat shallow house pet. Pet owners should go to these clinics to learn more about their pets food needs to workout routines that will help the spoiled kid start losing some of those needless pounds.
